Magento Hosting

Our Magento optimized servers are fine-tuned for enhanced performance, reliability, and security of your Magento store. The configuration and monitoring of your server are designed around Magento’s specific requirements and your server is supported only by Magento experts. All of our hosting packages include around the clock uptime monitoring as well as 24/7 support availability.

Shero ensures the hosting Environment is PCI compliant. This means we follow all PCI standards. e.g. session and password expiration, using secure and up to date TLS ciphers, patching systems for vulnerabilities.

Additionally, we run modsecurity as a web application firewall with the OWASP ruleset as well as some custom rules to block specific vulnerabilities for Magento, WordPress, and other CMS software.

The technology involved in serving websites hosted on our servers are Apache’s httpd, which we use as a webserver, php-fpm which is used to run php and communicates back to httpd over fastcgi, and percona which we use as a drop in replacement for mysql for the database. Websites are storing sessions and cache in files. The Shero servers are  located in a managed data center in Southfield, MI. The company we lease the servers from maintains their own AOC/ROC PCI compliance, which can be provided upon request.   

The software stack supported by our servers is as follows:

• redis (offered upon request, generally recommended for storing Magento cache)
• memcached ( offered upon request, generally recommended for storing Magento sessions)
• solr (offered upon request as a search provider.)
